Rules

Östergötland Football Association rules for 7-a-side and 9-a-side games, see link (in Swedish).

Dispensations

The Winning Ground philosophy is that everyone to a large extent shall be able to take part. Since match results are not in focus, we believe that the risk of dispensation misuse is minimal. Therefore, dispensations are given for up to one year older players, up to five  per team, and max three on the field at the same time. It is the responsibility of the coach to inform the opponents about any dispensations.

Each team plays at least five matches over three days, including one Arena match at Linköping Arena with all attributes of a final.

Regular games are 2×20 minutes, and the Arena game is played 1×20 minutes.

Whe should our team consider participating in Winning Ground?

During Winning Ground, the teams can focus on team and player development without pressure from results focus.   Girls football is in focus, and the possibilities to share experiences with the stars of Linköping FC. Through the arena matches, all players get a unique opportunity to get a feeling for what it is like to be a player in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.
